Morrow County Sheriff's Office has the following position open: Patrol Deputy
The position of Patrol Deputy requires the individual to be able to work any shift, any day, including weekends and holidays. Overtime and call outs may be required with very little notice. Individual should have a willingness to help citizens and businesses throughout the communities they serve. The following requirements are also needed:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Oregon driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Pass required testing
- United States Citizen
- Be able to obtain a Basic Police Certification through DPSST within 1 year of hire (on the job).
- Complete the 16 week Basic Police Academy at DPSST within 1 year of hire (on the job).
- Lateral/Certified officer preferred
- Bilingual preferred
Starting Pay Scale:
- Uncertified $3,507
- Basic $3,691
- Intermediate $3,784
- Advanced $3,879
