Clone of Morrow County Emergency Management (MCEM)
Morrow County Emergency Management (MCEM) coordinates and supports the efforts of local governments to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from natural and human caused emergencies and disasters. The duties of the Emergency Manager are performed by Undersheriff Bowles. Morrow County Emergency Management believes strongly in being a resource for first responders. MCEM will coordinate additional assistance and provide or facilitate the provision of any needs first responders may have. In addition to response duties, Morrow County Emergency Management also manages the various Emergency Management grant programs and assists in obtaining training for local personnel.
During large events, Morrow County Emergency Management can activate the Emergency Operations Center to act as a command post for the first responders. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office Mobile Communication Center is another resource that can be activated during local emergencies and is available to other agencies upon request.
