Morrow County Victim Assistance Program

The Victims Assistance office works within the District Attorney's office, and specializes in providing respectful and dignifying assistance to crime victims in Morrow County.  Victims of crime have several rights.  Some rights are automatic and some have to be requested.  For more information on victim rights and how to request them, please click the link below:

Primary Function and Mission

Our mission is to assist victims and survivors of crime through the criminal justice system, with a process that is holistic, trauma-informed and survivor-led, recognizing the impact of systemic, cultural, institutional and historical trauma, and the fact that some crime victims may be distrustful or fearful of the justice system causing them additional harm due to past experiences or beliefs. We work diligently to prevent any re-traumatization while working to restore a sense of safety and empowerment to survivors and victims.
