Senior Maintenance Specialist (3)

Morrow County now accepting applications for (3) full-time Senior Maintenance Specialist positions. The Senior Maintenance Specialist performs a variety of work with various pieces of heavy equipment including but not limited to: grader, excavator, loader, backhoe, bulldozer, dump truck, snow plow, sanding truck, water truck, semi-truck, paver, and chip spreader. In addition, this position installs and maintains roadway markers and signs, performs all duties related to traffic control flagging, and routine daily maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Four years of experience in heavy construction or road construction.
- Experience: One year of experience in the operation of two of the following pieces of equipment: front-end loader, excavator, grader, or bulldozer. OR Successful completion of a training course in the operation of heavy equipment and six months experience in the operation of two of the following pieces of equipment: front-end loader, excavator, grader, or bulldozer.
- License: Must have, or the ability to obtain within six months, a current Class A Driver’s License with a Tanker endorsement, as well as the ability to acquire other endorsements as required by Morrow County
Equipment used: Road grader, bulldozer, roller, paver, chip spreader, self-propelled paint striper, distributer, tractor-trailer truck, pug mill, backhoe, dump truck with pup. (Specific employees may operate different combinations of this equipment.) Operate specialty equipment as needed for specialty road repair. This could be asphalt grinder, heavy off-road trucks or other equipment.
$4,088 - $5,217 a month plus excellent benefits.
