Morrow County has a Full Time Nursing vacancy within the Maternal Child Health program. This position is primarily responsible for home-based visitation services including Maternity Case Management (MCM), Babies First and Nurse Family Partnership (NFP). Duties include long-term nurse case management with prenatal and postpartum mothers and their children up to the age of 5 years. Nurses providing NFP receive intensive training to administer this evidence-based, internationally recognized program whose goal is to improve outcomes, improve child development, and increase family self-sufficiency. This position works with culturally diverse families in communities with broad based socio-inequity. May also assist with immunization clinics (on/offsite), screen and follow up regarding communicable disease, and provide family planning services and education.

Morrow County is located east of the Cascades in north-central Oregon. The beautiful Columbia River is the northern border of Morrow County, with easy access to the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway and the Umatilla National Forest. Morrow County contains more than one million acres of gently rolling plains and broad plateaus.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Current Oregon RN license and driver’s license required. BSN preferred. Public health or related experience may be substituted for degree. Bilingual (Spanish) preference.

SALARY: $4,408/month for full-time.  Excellent benefits offered, including retirement.
