Morrow County has a Full-Time CD Coordinator vacancy. This position serves as the Emergency Coordinator for public health emergency preparedness activities, including (but not limited to) developing, maintaining, and exercising local/regional plans for responding to all hazards, infectious disease outbreaks, and all other public health emergencies and threats. Develops and maintains up-to-date, adequate plans for receiving and distributing the Strategic National Stockpile and coordination of local/regional response.

Morrow County is located east of the Cascades in north-central Oregon. The beautiful Columbia River is the northern border of Morrow County, with easy access to the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway and the Umatilla National Forest. Morrow County contains more than one million acres of gently rolling plains and broad plateaus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - Bachelor's degree in health education, education, or related field preferred.
Experience - One year of experience in one or more in the following positions applying the principles of health education, emergency response, public relations, community development, or epidemiology.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
SALARY: $4,161/per month. Excellent benefits offered, including retirement.
