Morrow County Statement on Rider Death
June 27, 2024
Morrow County Public Transit – The Loop — It is with a heavy heart that The Loop and Morrow County extend our condolences to the family of the On-Demand Services rider who suffered a medical emergency enroute to his scheduled appointment on Thursday, June 27 and consequently passed away. The Loop driver followed all required protocol by stopping the van and calling 911 for assistance. We understand that events like this do not happen every day but can often affect people in many different ways. If you or someone you know would like to speak with a mental health professional, please call Boardman Behavioral Health at (541) 482-2911, or other professional mental health providers.
