Public Works Director

 

 

Morrow County is now accepting applications for a full time Public Works Director.

Required Experience: Six years of experience in road construction, two years of which had supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education: Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent.  Experience may be substituted for part of Education.

The Public Works Director is responsible for the administration and operation of the Public Works Department, including: Road, Airport, Parks, Solid Waste, and General Maintenance divisions.  Responsibilities include: short and long-range planning, budgeting, supervision, coordination of activities of all divisions, and administering contracts, grants and agreements. 

 

Starting wage $6,467 per month plus excellent benefits.  This is an overtime exempt position.
